Jujutsu Kaisen Manga Announces Two-Week Hiatus

The Shinjuku Showdown arc in the Jujutsu Kaisen manga is reaching its climax with Gojo’s dramatic return, though in an unexpected twist. The intense battle between Gojo and Sukuna has reached a new level, but fans will need to hold their breath a little longer.

Accompanying the spoilers for Chapter 262, it’s revealed that Jujutsu Kaisen will be on a two-week hiatus. Why, you ask?

In Chapter 261, Yuta gains control of Gojo’s body, igniting hope among the Jujutsu sorcerers in their fight against the King of Curses. As we eagerly await the release of Chapter 262 on June 9th, the hiatus is confirmed due to creator Gege Akutami’s sudden illness.

Akutami has decided to take this break to prioritize his health.

All fans know that health issues can sometimes impact the work of their favorite mangaka. We wish Akutami-sensei a swift recovery and look forward to seeing JJK return with chapter 263 on June 30th in Shonen Jump Issue #31.
